  • Birmingham builder fined £2,400 for asbestos contamination

    January 25th

    Handyman William Rogers found himself in court recently after releasing asbestos fibres whilst refurbishing a Solihull kitchen. Inspectors from the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) found Rogers, a carpenter and general handyman, had removed partition walls containing asbestos insulating board at the premises in Masons Way, Olton, on 27 January 2011.
