The project consisted of soft strip and demolition of the first and second floor accommodation levels whilst leaving the ground floor retail outlet in situ. The building was scaffold wrapped, with asbestos soffits removed under controlled condition and the first-floor slab level waterproofed to provide protection from water ingress.
